Consultation Fees


Revised Nutrition is a private billing practice so there will be out-of-pocket costs for consultations. For clients with a care plan as well as a Health Care Card (HCC), bulk billing arrangements may be possible on request. General Consulation with Care Plan
Initial appointment: $119 (60 mins)
Long Review: $109 (45 mins)
Standard Review: $99 (30 mins)
A current Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) or Team Care Arrangement (TCA) will need to be presented by the time of appointment.
The current Medicare rebate per dietitian appointment is $60.35, however you will receive a higher rebate if you have reached the Medicare safety-net threshold.
You will need to pay for your
session in full, then your claim will be submitted to Medicare on your behalf and your rebate will be paid into your nominated account.
Eating Disorder Consultation
Initial appointment: $149 (75 mins)
Long Review: $109 (45 mins)
Standard Review: $99 (30 mins)
In order to claim Medicare rebates for an Eating Disorder appointment, a current Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) or Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) will need to be presented by the time of appointment.
The current Medicare rebate per dietitian appointment is $60.35, however you will receive a higher rebate if you have reached the Medicare safety-net threshold.
The appointment fee includes coordination and communication with your care team. You will need to pay for your session in full, then your claim will be submitted to Medicare on your behalf and your rebate will be paid into your nominated account.
Private Consultation
Initial appointment: $149 (60 mins)
Long Review: $109 (45 mins)
Standard Review: $99 (30 mins)
No referral or care plan is required for this appointment.

If you have private health care with dietetics included, you may be able to claim a rebate from your fund.
​
Contact your health fund quoting item codes 500 (Initial appointment), 600 (Review appointment), or 800 (Home visit/phone/telehealth appointments) for information regarding any eligible rebates.

You will need to pay for your session in full, and you will then be issued with a receipt for submission to your fund.
Cancellation and Financial Policy
Cancellation Policy:
Please inform us by replying to your SMS reminder or by telephone at least 24 hours before your appointment if you are unable to attend. This gives you the opportunity to reschedule, as well as allowing other clients to fill the appointment.

If you reschedule or cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged 50% of the fee for the session. If you miss the appointment, with no attempt to contact us (by phone, text, or email), then you will be charged 100% of the fee for the session. No rebates will be available for these charges. For initial appointments, your deposit will be credited to your cancellation fee.

Cancellations or rescheduled appointments with more than 24 hours notice, will have no cancellation fees charged and will have their deposit applied to their resheduled appointment or refunded, if required.

Revised Nutrition understands that in some circumstances, short notice may be unavoidable due to illness or unplanned emergencies, in these cases, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure that cancellation fees are not unfairly applied.

Financial Policy:
All consultation fees are required to be paid in full.

For care plan consultations, Revised Nutrition will attempt to claim any eligible Medicare rebates on your behalf, however if your Medicare rebate is declined for any reason, or there is a delay in you receiving your rebate, the client must contact Medicare themselves for resolution.

For private consultations, Revised Nutrition will provide a receipt for payment to the client for claiming a rebate from their health fund.​
